Reviews
This excellent biography of James S. Wadsworth by Wayne Mahood is a striking example of how a detailed historical biography does not have to be dry and weighty.
I loved Wayne Mahood's book. [Fight All Day, March All Night] A Medal of Honor recipient's story is well written. It was hard to put down, and a great story about an era that never loses its relevance. I heartily recommend this book for anyone who loves history and loves a good story, you will not be disappointed. I wish I could give it 6 stars
This book [Written in Blood] is one of the best I have read about the 126th NY Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. Not only does it follow the troops from the beginning to the end of the war, it names all the different men that served in the different Companies of the Regiment and their fates.
